Peripatetic Rehabilitation Physiotherapy, wherever appropriate, depending on assessed needs.
About
Since qualifying as a Chartered Physiotherapist from the Leeds School of Physiotherapy in 1982, I have gained a wide experience of many aspects of Physiotherapy practice and treatment, that has since focused on the treatment of patients with complex, orthopaedic and neurological diagnoses. Especially following traumatic injury.
In a career spanning 40 years, I have worked in a variety of specialist areas including spinal Injury units in both the UK and internationally, including a Bury based specialist Head Injury Unit for both adults and children. I have been fortunate to experience working in stroke rehabilitation teams based in both the Community and Hospitals. My work in Saudi Arabia widened my cultural awareness and allowed me to experience the treatment of neurological conditions very rarely found in the UK.
I am a member of northwest branch of ACPIN (Association of Chartered Physiotherapists interested in Neurology). Involvement with these bodies I see as having a vital role in maintaining my specialist skills and knowledge.

I actively seek to maintain up to date knowledge and pride myself in my continual professional development. So I can be at the cutting edge of treatment and intervention for my clients.
